Tonight our kids spent some time drawing pictures of Paul’s second missionary journey, right down to the earthquake at the prison! They’re so creative!

During missions time last week in VBS, we talked about life in Mozambique-including what local food is like. Tonight we did a follow up on what’s happening with the missionaries we learned about. The kids got busy in the kitchen learning how xima (a type of common corn porridge, a staple of the local diet) is made. They all worked to make it and most were willing to try it! You can see their reactions were mixed! 😁😁

We praise God for good dads-the ones who planned to be, and those who didn’t, and for those who’ve stepped up to the challenge when a child is without. May we appreciate the reflection of God’s love for us through the dads in our lives!
